Roe Valley Cycling club is inviting friends and fellow enthusiasts to join them on their annual “5 Forests” MTB Cycle for all those who would like a fun but challenging ride early in the new year to help blow off the festive cobwebs. This route has been an annual get together for the club after Christmas for a number of years but this year we have decided to share the fun.
The ride, which will be for charity this year, will be held on Sunday 3rd January and will leave from the Sports Pavillion based at the 3G pitches off Scroggy Road, Limavady.
Registration will be available from 8:45 that morning with a mass roll out at 10:00AM, returning to the same location for hot soup, bread rolls, tea/coffee and and well earned sugary treats.
There is no entry fee obviously but a minimum charitable donation of £10.00 payable on the morning would be much appreciated. Participants will receive a t-shirt marking their involvement.
The route is indicated below, will be well sign posted and will be available as a GPX file downloadable from the map below for those who wish to upload the route into the appropriate technology as an additional safety net 🙂
